Catch Crew n’ Co is more than just a clothing label; it’s a community of ocean lovers and adventurers based right here in Central Queensland. Led by Cain, the crew spends their time exploring our local waterways and sharing those experiences with a global audience on YouTube. When they approached Nightowl Design Studio, they needed a digital home that could turn that audience engagement into a high-performing eCommerce store.
The Challenge
The primary goal was simplicity. Cain needed a platform that could live alongside his YouTube channel without requiring hours of technical management. The challenge was to create a store that felt authentic to the “Catch Crew” vibe – grounded, adventurous, and focused on quality – while ensuring the checkout process was as seamless as possible for his followers.
The Strategy: Connecting Content and Commerce
Our strategy focused on bridging the gap between Cain’s videos and his merchandise. We moved away from generic “shop” layouts to create a design that feels like an extension of the Catch Crew n’ Co brand. By emphasizing their “take only what you need” philosophy and their love for the ocean, we built a site that resonates with the values of their community.

Technically, we focused on a high-performance eCommerce structure that prioritizes mobile users. Whether a fan is watching a new video on their phone or browsing the range on a tablet, the site remains fast, secure, and responsive. We’ve provided Cain with a “steady hand” technical foundation that allows him to focus on filming his next adventure, knowing his website is handling the sales in the background.
