About the Project
Elevating the Arts in Gladstone
Gladstone Region Entertainment Arts Training (G.R.E.A.T.) Studios is led by a vocal specialist with over 30 years of industry experience – a professional legacy that mirrors our own here at Nightowl Design Studio. They provide a safe, inclusive environment for singers of all ages to develop their skills, from beginners to professional performers.
The Challenge
As the region’s leading vocal studio, GREAT Studios needed a website that was as polished and structured as their syllabus. The goal was to take a wide range of offerings – including group sessions, private tuition, and community events – and organise them into a clean, user-friendly experience that encourages new students to take that first step onto the stage.
The Strategy: Clarity & Confidence
Our strategy was built around the idea of “learning with confidence”. We stripped away the digital noise to focus on a “Strategy & Structure” that leads parents and students directly to the information they need. By using a bright, professional palette and clear, jargon-free descriptions, we ensured the site feels as welcoming as a first free trial session at the studio.
The Structure: Built to Perform
Technically, the website acts as another employee for the GREAT Studios team. We built a custom backend that handles the “Programs” and “Events” logic automatically. This means the studio can promote the Queensland Eisteddfod or their latest workshops without needing to worry about manual site maintenance. The result is a fast, secure, and fully responsive platform that allows the teachers to focus on their students while the website handles the enquiries.
